WordTayo Privacy Policy

WordTayo is an Android English and Filipino word-game application developed by Oobert App Network. WordTayo is designed to be local-first: you can play without creating a WordTayo account, and gameplay does not require an Oobert App Network server or paid online service.

Information WordTayo Stores Locally

WordTayo stores information needed for app functionality on your device. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

WordTayo does not require profile registration and does not provide gameplay cloud sync in the current version. Oobert App Network does not operate a WordTayo server that receives this gameplay information.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

WordTayo uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process information for ad delivery, measurement, security, diagnostics, and related service purposes. Depending on your device, settings, region, and interaction with ads, this may include device or advertising identifiers, diagnostic information, approximate information derived from network data, and information about ad views or interactions.

This third-party processing is separate from the gameplay information that WordTayo intentionally stores locally. Google handles information under its own terms and policies. For more information, review the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps and sites.

Daily Reminder and Notifications

You may optionally enable one Daily Reminder. It is off by default. The reminder and your selected local time are handled on your Android device; WordTayo does not use a remote push-notification server for this feature.

On supported Android versions, WordTayo may request notification permission after you choose to enable the reminder. You can disable the reminder in WordTayo Settings and can also manage WordTayo's notification permission through Android system settings.

Data Sharing and Accounts

WordTayo does not require a WordTayo account, profile, email address, or password for normal use. Oobert App Network does not sell your locally stored WordTayo gameplay information.

Information may be processed by third-party services used in the app, including Google Mobile Ads, as described above and governed by those services' own policies. If you voluntarily contact Oobert App Network, the information you provide in that communication will be used to respond to your inquiry and is separate from normal WordTayo gameplay.

Device Storage, Retention, and Deletion

WordTayo's local app information generally remains on your device until you clear the application's data or uninstall WordTayo. Actual behavior may also depend on Android, your device manufacturer, device transfer tools, and backup or restoration settings.

Oobert App Network does not currently maintain a WordTayo gameplay account or gameplay cloud-storage service to delete. Clearing local app data does not control information processed independently by Google or another third party; requests concerning such information are governed by the applicable third party's policies and controls.

Data Security

WordTayo limits its own gameplay data handling by keeping gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device. No method of storage or processing is completely secure. You should use the security features provided by Android and your device manufacturer.

Children's Privacy

WordTayo is not specifically designed for or directed toward children. The current version does not ask users to create WordTayo profiles or submit names, email addresses, or passwords for gameplay. Third-party services used by the app operate under their own policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Oobert App Network may update this Privacy Policy if WordTayo's features, services, or data practices change. The updated policy will be made available through WordTayo and/or its Google Play listing, and the date above will be updated as appropriate.
